This programme includes ethical elephant observation. Watch elephants enjoy the waterfall and learn about their natural behaviour while keeping the distance advised by your guide. Sightings and activities depend on the elephants’ behaviour and weather.
You can choose from 2 trip schedules:
Morning Trip: Pick-up between 07:00–07:30 / Return to Chiang Mai around 14:30
Afternoon Trip: Pick-up between 11:30–12:00 / Return to Chiang Mai around 18:30
A portion of the trip revenue goes to support scholarships for local students

A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to operate. If bookings do not reach the minimum, the tour will be canceled and deposits fully refunded.
Round-trip transfers are included from hotels in Chiang Mai city or Chiang Mai Airport. The scenic drive to Mae Wang takes approximately 1.5 hours. Please confirm your pickup location and time when booking.
Yes. We use fresh local ingredients and can prepare vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or allergy-aware meals. Please tell us about all dietary requirements and allergies when booking so our team can prepare in advance.
Families with young children are welcome. Activities focus on guided nature walks and respectful elephant observation without forced interaction. Some jungle paths may be uneven, so please tell us the children's ages and any mobility needs before booking.
No. The half-day, full-day and 2-day/1-night programs explicitly titled elephant observation include ethical observation without riding, shows, feeding or forced interaction. The 1-day and 2-day/1-night nature-trekking programs do not include elephant activities. Accommodation-only bookings do not include tours. Please check your chosen itinerary before booking.
Tour bookings include round-trip transfers from Chiang Mai city hotels. Pickup time and travel duration vary by program. Please confirm your hotel location and pickup time when booking.
Please bring a camera, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimwear, a towel, a change of clothes, and comfortable walking shoes. A reusable water bottle and light rain jacket are also recommended.
