  • This full-day Chiang Mai trekking experience is designed for active travellers who have limited time but want a genuine outdoor adventure. Start at the Pha Mon Royal Project and hike through mountain scenery, community farmland and seasonal rice terraces toward Mae Sapor Waterfall. Along the way, help prepare a simple local lunch in nature, then finish the day with bamboo rafting.

Itinerary

  • 07:00–07:30 Hotel or agreed meeting-point pickup in Chiang Mai city, followed by a transfer to the Pha Mon Royal Project area.
  • 09:00 Arrive at Pha Mon, meet the local guide and receive a route and safety briefing.
  • 09:15–11:30 Trek through natural trails, mountain farmland and seasonal rice terraces, with rest and photo stops when appropriate.
  • 11:30–13:00 Stop in a suitable natural setting and take part in preparing a simple local-style jungle lunch, then eat together surrounded by nature.
  • 13:00–14:30 Continue trekking through the valley and forest toward Mae Sapor Waterfall.
  • 14:30 Relax and take photos at Mae Sapor Waterfall. Swimming depends on water conditions, weather and the guide’s safety assessment.
  • 15:15 Continue to the bamboo-rafting connection point.
  • 15:45 Enjoy bamboo rafting along the river with forest views. Duration and route may change according to water level and safety conditions.
  • 16:30 Change clothes, rest and prepare for the return journey.
  • 17:00 Depart for Chiang Mai.
  • 18:30–19:00 Drop-off at your hotel or agreed meeting point in Chiang Mai city.

Families with young children are welcome. Activities focus on guided nature walks and respectful elephant observation without forced interaction. Some jungle paths may be uneven, so please tell us the children's ages and any mobility needs before booking.

No. The half-day, full-day and 2-day/1-night programs explicitly titled elephant observation include ethical observation without riding, shows, feeding or forced interaction. The 1-day and 2-day/1-night nature-trekking programs do not include elephant activities. Accommodation-only bookings do not include tours. Please check your chosen itinerary before booking.

* WHAT TO BRING

Please bring a camera, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimwear, a towel, a change of clothes, and comfortable walking shoes. A reusable water bottle and light rain jacket are also recommended.
